For those who have anticipated some new songs – we have good news for you! MyGrain will enter the studio in the end of July. The fourth album will be recorded at Sound Supreme studio, with the producer Janne Saksa. One could say that we’re returning to our roots since the first two albums were recorded there. It’s gonna be a happy reunion! Mr. Dan Swanö will take care of the mixing and mastering, as he did with the previous album. The fourth, still unnamed album will be released in the beginning of 2013.
MyGrain will play at Metal Invasion 2012 in Loviisa next spring. See you there!
We want to thank everyone who attended our shows on our trip to Russia last week. We had a blast on stage and it was also fantastic to meet so many of you after the gigs. YOU RULE!!! We will definitely come back in the future, if we have the chance. Also we want to raise the horns for our tour manager Ekaterina and the technicians, Dmitry and co. You all did a great job. Special thanks also for the helpful man who gave Eve and Resistor a ride from our rehearsal place in the beginning of the trip. We would have missed the train to St.Petersburg without him, since the blizzard in Helsinki made it impossible to get a taxi. End is well, all is well!
Next week we have three gigs in Finland: Tampere, Jyväskylä and Kokkola. If you haven’t managed to see us live with the newest album in Finland, this is pretty much your last chance. We have some tour plans for this year that we haven’t revealed yet but the main target for this year is to concentrate on the new material. The fourth album is planned to be released in the beginning of 2013 and at this point it seems that we’re on schedule. So stay tuned for news on that one!

Our first ever tour abroad is now over and what can we say? It was a mindblowing trip! We want to thank Avocado Booking for giving us the opportunity to take part in the “One for Sorrow” tour, and above all Insomnium, Before the Dawn and all the crew and people involved with this madness. Last but not least: a big thank you to all the people who attended the shows and checked the bands out! You rule, big time!
